Terms of use

These terms govern your use of Crestmas Blog, operated by Crestmas Hub (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the site you agree to them, together with our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and Contributor Guidelines.

1. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 and give accurate information.
  • Keep your password confidential. You’re responsible for activity under your account; tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.
  • One person, one account. Don’t impersonate others.

2. Content you submit

  • You keep ownership of your articles and comments.
  • You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt for formatting, distribute and promote your content on Crestmas Blog and in related channels (such as newsletters and social posts). This licence lasts while the content is published and for a reasonable period afterwards for backups and archives.
  • You confirm that you wrote the content or have permission to publish it, that it doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights or break the law, and that images are yours or properly licensed.
  • Submitting an article doesn’t guarantee publication.

3. Editorial decisions and moderation

Every community article is reviewed before publication. We may edit for clarity and formatting, request revisions, decline, unpublish or remove content, and hide or delete comments, in line with our guidelines. We may suspend or close accounts that repeatedly or seriously break the rules.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t post unlawful, abusive, hateful, deceptive or spam content; collect other users’ data; probe or disrupt the service; bypass security or rate limits; or use automated tools to scrape, like or comment at scale.

5. Copyright and takedown requests

If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, email info@crestmashub.com with the page address, what is infringed and your contact details. We’ll review and act promptly, which may include removing the content.

6. Our content

The Crestmas Hub name, logo and site design belong to us. You may share links and short quotations with attribution, but you may not reuse our branding or reproduce articles without permission from their authors and us.

7. Third-party links

Articles and comments may link to other sites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content.

8. Disclaimer

Articles express the views of their authors, not necessarily ours, and are for general educational information, not professional advice. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending your account

You can deactivate or delete your account from your profile at any time. We may suspend or end access as described above. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as licences for published content, disclaimers and liability) survive.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continuing to use Crestmas Blog after changes take effect means you accept them.
