Practical insights on education, learning technology and professional skills

Contributor guidelines

We welcome articles from any field when they make a substantive contribution to teaching, learning, training, research or public education.

What we publish

  • Original work that you wrote and have the right to publish.
  • A clear educational connection: what will a reader learn or be able to do?
  • At least 150 words; most strong articles run 600–1,500.
  • Accurate claims, with sources named for facts and figures.

What we do not publish

  • Purely promotional content or undisclosed advertising.
  • Plagiarised or AI-generated text presented as original research without review.
  • Content that is abusive, discriminatory, or unrelated to education.

How review works

  1. Create an account and verify your email.
  2. Write and save drafts from Write.
  3. Submit for review. An editor may approve, request revisions, or decline, and will leave feedback.
  4. Approved articles are published by an administrator. Submitting does not publish automatically.
